If you have been on the fence about acupuncture, or have been too afraid to try it, don't be! You will have a positive and comfortable experience with Pete and the whole DeCicco Acupuncture Group.   Back in the beginning of May I woke up one day and the whole left side of my face had no movement! I am 34 years old and the next... read more day was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy. My sister did some research for me and learned that acupuncture has had great success. We immediately reached out to Pete at DeCicco Acupuncture. I was so freaked out that I would never get movement back in my face. After only my first two sessions with Pete we started to notice at least 85% movement back. I went for another 4 sessions, but by session 4 we saw 100% movement back! I was so pleased with how comfortable Pete and Michelle made me feel and at the very same time so professional and informative. After my Bell’s palsy appointments were complete, for over a month after, I started to feel this pulsating feeling in my right ear. All day every day! I went back to Pete and right away after one session I was amazed. Not only did the pulsating feeling basically go away, we realized the tightness in my neck and shoulders. The very next day I felt like I went for a deep tissue massage. I went back for a 2nd appointment only because I felt that pulsating feeling one more time. I have never felt more relaxed ever in my life then I had at every appointment. His office assistant Michelle is just as accommodating and professional. I was diagnosed and treated for biceps tendonitis in my dominant arm. I could barely move my arm and had terrible pain. Pete diagnosed me with confidence right away. At the end of my treatment, I was 100% healed with complete range of motion. I would most definitely recommend this place.   There are really no words to describe the appreciation I have for Pete and his practice. After I completed two rounds of IVF with “poor quality” egg results, my doctor... read more told me there was nothing I could do. I asked about acupuncture and he told me it would only ease my anxiety, nothing with the quality of eggs or my cycle. As a medical provider myself, I knew this just sounded wrong. I left his practice and went to another fertility practice who had a different approach and truly supported acupuncture. I also began to google fertility acupuncturists “near me” with late hours and weekend hours that worked for my work schedule -DeCicco Acupuncture was all the above. I first met Pete 2/2023 as a desperate helpless person trying to become pregnant. He listened to me and created a plan to optimize my results. After going to Pete and Lindsie for 4 months, two times a week (longer than initially planned due to delayed cycles), I went forward with my third egg retrieval at my new clinic. The retrieval yielded astoundingly different results than my first two cycles. We were able to freeze 5 embryos of decent - excellent quality. I literally cried tears of joy. I continued to see Pete twice a week to prep for my transfer 2 months later. Our first transfer was 8/21/2023 and my son was born 4/20/2024. It took me a really long time to write this review as the whole IVF process makes you very superstitious of how many things can go wrong or get delayed. I sit here writing this, looking at my son, and am so thankful for my google that led me to Pete. Over the months, he became a friend who I will gladly go back to any day for treatment. If you are trying to get pregnant and are struggling, please don’t hesitate any longer and make your acupuncture appointment. It is the best money you will ever spend.

He is so knowledgeable and was so honest about what was needed to achieve this goal. He worked closely with the timing of each cycle so whatever he was doing would coincide with the medication/treatment that my doctor put me on. I’ve been to other practices for acupuncture on and off for years and it seemed as though they would address too many issues at one time where Pete remained focused on the priority at hand. Today I have a beautiful and healthy 9 month old baby girl! I am so lucky I found him and couldn’t recommend him enough. Although I was reluctant to try acupuncture again I decided to give it one more try especially after I found out that he had worked with my chiropractor who highly recommended him. Well I must say that it was well worth it! Peter has helped me so much! My pain is dramatically reduced in only a few sessions, I am no longer afraid of the needles, I sleep better and I actually look forward to my sessions!
