After I completed two rounds of IVF with “poor quality” egg results, my doctor... read more told me there was nothing I could do. I asked about acupuncture and he told me it would only ease my anxiety, nothing with the quality of eggs or my cycle. As a medical provider myself, I knew this just sounded wrong. I left his practice and went to another fertility practice who had a different approach and truly supported acupuncture. I also began to google fertility acupuncturists “near me” with late hours and weekend hours that worked for my work schedule -DeCicco Acupuncture was all the above. I first met Pete 2/2023 as a desperate helpless person trying to become pregnant. He listened to me and created a plan to optimize my results. After going to Pete and Lindsie for 4 months, two times a week (longer than initially planned due to delayed cycles), I went forward with my third egg retrieval at my new clinic. The retrieval yielded astoundingly different results than my first two cycles. We were able to freeze 5 embryos of decent - excellent quality. I literally cried tears of joy. I continued to see Pete twice a week to prep for my transfer 2 months later. Our first transfer was 8/21/2023 and my son was born 4/20/2024. It took me a really long time to write this review as the whole IVF process makes you very superstitious of how many things can go wrong or get delayed. I sit here writing this, looking at my son, and am so thankful for my google that led me to Pete. Over the months, he became a friend who I will gladly go back to any day for treatment. If you are trying to get pregnant and are struggling, please don’t hesitate any longer and make your acupuncture appointment. It is the best money you will ever spend.

Although I was reluctant to try acupuncture again I decided to give it one more try especially after I found out that he had worked with my chiropractor who highly recommended him. Well I must say that it was well worth it! Peter has helped me so much! My pain is dramatically reduced in only a few sessions, I am no longer afraid of the needles, I sleep better and I actually look forward to my sessions! He is very kind, very gentle and extremely professional. I have been to 7 or 8 different acupuncturists and there is no doubt in my mind that Peter DeCicco is the best! I had a C4/5 herniated disk about 10 years ago that wound up with a fluoroscopy guided steroid epidural treatment for pain. About 3 years post procedure I was feeling weakness and tiredness in my neck especially at night. Not wanting to have another surgical procedure done, I decided to try acupuncture. Pete and his staff were very up front with what I could expect and what my out of pocket responsibility would be. We even discussed a treatment plan that would be best for me moving forward. I’ve now been a patient for about 6 years and wouldn’t trust anyone else to treat my neck. He’s helped me with not only pain management, but managing stress, anxiety and general maintenance. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and works with you to create the best treatment plan for your condition. I visited Pete three years ago for pain caused by a nerve entrapment in my heel. I was told it could only be fixed by surgery and that only two doctors in the country could perform that surgery. Four treatments by Pete later, my foot was completely healed. I am currently in his care for pain in my knee/meniscus area. Pete tested my knee and quickly diagnosed it as a muscle/soft tissue injury. After one treatment, I felt great. After my second, the pain behind and around my knee was basically gone. Today was my third treatment for this condition and it continues to improve! I told Pete that I had been experiencing some anxiety recently. He treated me for it during one of my sessions and I have truly been relaxed ever since. I would recommend DeCicco Acupuncture to anyone for ANYTHING!

He is so knowledgeable and was so honest about what was needed to achieve this goal. He worked closely with the timing of each cycle so whatever he was doing would coincide with the medication/treatment that my doctor put me on. I’ve been to other practices for acupuncture on and off for years and it seemed as though they would address too many issues at one time where Pete remained focused on the priority at hand. Today I have a beautiful and healthy 9 month old baby girl! I am so lucky I found him and couldn’t recommend him enough.
