  Back in the beginning of May I woke up one day and the whole left side of my face had no movement! I am 34 years old and the next... read more day was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy. My sister did some research for me and learned that acupuncture has had great success. We immediately reached out to Pete at DeCicco Acupuncture. I was so freaked out that I would never get movement back in my face. After only my first two sessions with Pete we started to notice at least 85% movement back. I went for another 4 sessions, but by session 4 we saw 100% movement back! I was so pleased with how comfortable Pete and Michelle made me feel and at the very same time so professional and informative. After my Bell’s palsy appointments were complete, for over a month after, I started to feel this pulsating feeling in my right ear. All day every day! I went back to Pete and right away after one session I was amazed. Not only did the pulsating feeling basically go away, we realized the tightness in my neck and shoulders. The very next day I felt like I went for a deep tissue massage. I went back for a 2nd appointment only because I felt that pulsating feeling one more time. I have never felt more relaxed ever in my life then I had at every appointment. Would like to mention my daughter was petrified of needles and she did great bc of him. I went to Pete for calf muscle tear. I wasn’t able to run for 2 months and I was mentally loosing it . Pete got me back to my running routine within 5 weeks and couldn’t be more excited . His professionalism and expertise is beyond. The office is so kind and opening.   I suffered from a severe case of plantar fasciitis toward the end of my marathon training in October. Finding no relief from anything I tried, including sleeping in a boot... read more at night, I began by seeing Lindsie twice a week for cupping and acupuncture. Within a few weeks, we knocked it down to once a week, but within two months of seeing her, my plantar fasciitis completely resolved itself. Lindsie is skilled and knowledgeable, and I could tell how passionate she is about her work and helping her patients. Besides Lindsie, I can also say the staff here is super helpful and lovely to work with. Michelle was always responsive to my emails and phone calls, helping me to schedule, reschedule, and gather statements for reimbursement through my insurance. I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for these types of services, especially if you are passionate about your sport, like I am. These folks get it.

He takes the time to listen to your concerns and works with you to create the best treatment plan for your condition. I visited Pete three years ago for pain caused by a nerve entrapment in my heel. I was told it could only be fixed by surgery and that only two doctors in the country could perform that surgery. Four treatments by Pete later, my foot was completely healed. I am currently in his care for pain in my knee/meniscus area. Pete tested my knee and quickly diagnosed it as a muscle/soft tissue injury. After one treatment, I felt great. After my second, the pain behind and around my knee was basically gone. Today was my third treatment for this condition and it continues to improve! I told Pete that I had been experiencing some anxiety recently. He treated me for it during one of my sessions and I have truly been relaxed ever since. I would recommend DeCicco Acupuncture to anyone for ANYTHING!

I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis along with having ruptured and herniated discs in my neck... read more and lower back which has caused a lot of constant pain, discomfort, and dizziness. • There are really no words to describe the appreciation I have for Pete and his practice. After I completed two rounds of IVF with “poor quality” egg results, my doctor... read more told me there was nothing I could do. I asked about acupuncture and he told me it would only ease my anxiety, nothing with the quality of eggs or my cycle. As a medical provider myself, I knew this just sounded wrong. I left his practice and went to another fertility practice who had a different approach and truly supported acupuncture. I also began to google fertility acupuncturists “near me” with late hours and weekend hours that worked for my work schedule -DeCicco Acupuncture was all the above. I first met Pete 2/2023 as a desperate helpless person trying to become pregnant. He listened to me and created a plan to optimize my results. After going to Pete and Lindsie for 4 months, two times a week (longer than initially planned due to delayed cycles), I went forward with my third egg retrieval at my new clinic. The retrieval yielded astoundingly different results than my first two cycles. We were able to freeze 5 embryos of decent - excellent quality. I literally cried tears of joy. I continued to see Pete twice a week to prep for my transfer 2 months later. Our first transfer was 8/21/2023 and my son was born 4/20/2024. It took me a really long time to write this review as the whole IVF process makes you very superstitious of how many things can go wrong or get delayed. I sit here writing this, looking at my son, and am so thankful for my google that led me to Pete. Over the months, he became a friend who I will gladly go back to any day for treatment. If you are trying to get pregnant and are struggling, please don’t hesitate any longer and make your acupuncture appointment. It is the best money you will ever spend.
