Until I met Peter I never really took acupuncture seriously I didn’t believe that it was gonna help me but Peter changed my opinion on acupuncture, he is very friendly and professional.   Over the last 25 plus years I have tried acupuncture many times with many different acupuncturists. I have never liked it nor have I ever experienced any noticeable improvements. Although I was reluctant to try acupuncture again I decided to give it one more try especially after I found out that he had worked with my chiropractor who highly recommended him. Well I must say that it was well worth it! Peter has helped me so much! My pain is dramatically reduced in only a few sessions, I am no longer afraid of the needles, I sleep better and I actually look forward to my sessions! He is very kind, very gentle and extremely professional. I have been to 7 or 8 different acupuncturists and there is no doubt in my mind that Peter DeCicco is the best! Lindsie set out a plan from the beginning to get me back to at least low mileage and delivered on that plan. I will continue to go back for tune ups when needed but the difference between how I feel now and 6 months ago is remarkable. Michelle, his office manager was extremely helpful in checking out my insurance coverage and got back to me in a timely manner! She has a sweet personality and always makes me feel welcome! I have had acupuncture treatments in the past, but Peter’s approach to treatment was more about treating the patient and not just the pain. Although my treatments were interrupted several times due to oral surgery and a death in the family, I have had much relief in my neck and with arthritis in different parts of my body! Peter has another acupuncturist working with him! Her name is Lindsey. Lindsey also sees patients one on one or she will work with Peter to get patients started or ending the sessions! They work well together! I have since recommended two of my closest friends to Peter. They have not been there yet, but they are planning a visit soon!   I started with Peter because I had chronic muscle aches and fatigue from fibromyalgia. This created down mood swings as well. Peter listened to what I had to... read more say and showed tremendous empathy. He explained the different reasons why my body responded the way it did. In the first weeks that Peter worked on me I was able to pinpoint the exact areas that slowed me down. This was an improvement to just aching all over. And now I have an episode of discomfort (as when I over do it) now and then instead of daily powerlessness. I rarely recommend health professionals because people tend to create high expectations that can never be met. But here I did not hesitate. I have recommended Peter to friends who have tried traditional methods of pain care. They too are happy, and hence have also recommended friends and family. This is why I gave Peter’s practice 5 stars.
