My sister did some research for me and learned that acupuncture has had great success. We immediately reached out to Pete at DeCicco Acupuncture. I was so freaked out that I would never get movement back in my face. After only my first two sessions with Pete we started to notice at least 85% movement back. I went for another 4 sessions, but by session 4 we saw 100% movement back! I was so pleased with how comfortable Pete and Michelle made me feel and at the very same time so professional and informative. After my Bell’s palsy appointments were complete, for over a month after, I started to feel this pulsating feeling in my right ear. All day every day! I went back to Pete and right away after one session I was amazed. Not only did the pulsating feeling basically go away, we realized the tightness in my neck and shoulders. The very next day I felt like I went for a deep tissue massage. I went back for a 2nd appointment only because I felt that pulsating feeling one more time. I have never felt more relaxed ever in my life then I had at every appointment. Happy that there is an alternative . Wanted to stay away from Botox and filler‘s. Was introduced to Greer , she would be doing my facial acupuncture . I had a C4/5 herniated disk about 10 years ago that wound up with a fluoroscopy guided steroid epidural treatment for pain. About 3 years post procedure I was feeling weakness and tiredness in my neck especially at night. Not wanting to have another surgical procedure done, I decided to try acupuncture. Pete and his staff were very up front with what I could expect and what my out of pocket responsibility would be. We even discussed a treatment plan that would be best for me moving forward. I’ve now been a patient for about 6 years and wouldn’t trust anyone else to treat my neck. He’s helped me with not only pain management, but managing stress, anxiety and general maintenance. His office assistant Michelle is just as accommodating and professional. I was diagnosed and treated for biceps tendonitis in my dominant arm. I could barely move my arm and had terrible pain.
